We are living in some of the crucial moments in history. End time events are happening all around us, the signs of Jesus’ coming is unfolding just like he said they would in Matthew 24, and so perhaps more than ever before we need to be recognising and using our spiritual authority. Every day we need to be advancing the causes of god’s kingdom and opposing the works of the devil.
(John 15 v 5 Message Version) “I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing.
And so, it is vital that we develop our fellowship and dependence on Jesus, daily experiencing Him by hungering for His presence. As believers, we are in the process right now of being set apart for the end – time work of God where we give up our lives to take on Jesus’ life being transformed into His image.
Ephesians 1v19 (Amp version) and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe.
Jesus is getting us ready for His return and before He comes the church will be the strongest force on earth. When we use our authority, God prevails and we prevail, when we don’t the enemy starts to encroach on our territory, that is why it’s important for us to ask ourselves what are we doing with the spiritual authority God has given us. Despite the authority God has given us in Jesus’ name if we don’t open our mouths in prayer and confession the devil will have free reign. Because we haven’t been diligent to do this over our schools and communities we’ve left ourselves vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. Do we really believe that the unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power is in us? Are we daily living in an intimate communion with Jesus, so we can use our divine authority to see God’s will done on the earth?
…….That is why now we as praying believers need to live in intimate communion with Jesus and using our divine authority.
